Overview

The Office of Analysis and Information Management (AIM) is one of several institutional research (IR) units at UCLA. The department fulfills a dual role—providing statistics, data, and information about UCLA to both the public and the campus.

AIM prepares numerous reports and publications about UCLA. As part of the Office of Finance, Budget, and Capital Programs, AIM supports campus planning and evaluation by providing information to university decision makers about academic resources, activities, and outcomes. Our services include regular reporting to campus and external agencies, as well as analyses that focus on current topics of interest.

Please see Links to Other Data to find data and analyses available from other UCLA offices, the University of California Office of the President, and national sources of higher education information. Campus staff and faculty who enter data or use AIM information can view our Handbook for information about how we organize and report data for various campus planning and evaluation processes.
